Vi fin
Martin Høft A/S Rolgros (MH) is engaged in the production and sale of injection molded standard plastic articles, which are sold to a large number of customers throughout Europe.
We therefore find it natural, as an integral part of our everyday life, to also take an interest in the environment we are in on a daily basis and, not least, how it affects our surroundings and employees.
This is not a new way of thinking about the internal conditions in our company, but as developments take shape, we find it important to share our environmental and occupational health and safety policy with our partners, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
We are an energy-intensive production company, which is why we have made various investments in green energy over the years. From 2003-2019 we owned a share in a wind farm on Samsoe and since 2021 we have been the main shareholder in the solar park "Sol over Brenderup". In July 2023, we also put solar cells on our production and warehouse roofs into operation. MH was among the first 100 in Denmark to complete the course: Climate-ready production company under DI. We are not certified, but back in 2016 we were ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 certified and we still adhere to these standards today.
We have confirmed with our subcontractors that Russian steel is not used in our metal parts.
Fruit trees and other vegetation are planted around our company. The vegetation is planted with wood chips from the conifers that used to grow in the area.
We work continuously to:
-Minimize the impact on the environment throughout the company.
-Comply with Danish environmental and working environment legislation as a minimum.
-Make the best possible use of auxiliary and raw materials, including minimizing the environmental impact of use and disposal.
-Maintain effective waste sorting for recycling.
-Consider environmental and occupational health and safety impacts when making new purchases and changes to work or production processes.
-Promote our employees' understanding and sense of responsibility for the environment by involving all employees in the daily process of preventing environmental incidents, accidents and accidents.
-Together with the health and safety representatives, improve and expand the concepts of "an inclusive workplace and an inclusive work environment". Including the psychological work environment.
-Motivate our suppliers and customers to be environmentally conscious.
-Undertake an ongoing evaluation and audit of our products and production to continuously monitor environmental developments and translate our environmental and working environment policy into concrete objectives that create continuous improvements.
