Martin Høft A/S Rolgros (MH) works to deliver high-quality injection molded plastic parts to large parts of the world. We define our corporate social responsibility by delivering high-quality products with a long lifespan while striving to create value-adding relationships for our employees, customers and suppliers. We find it natural, as an integral part of our everyday life, to take an interest in the environment we are in on a daily basis and how it affects our surroundings and employees.
This is not a new way of thinking about the internal conditions in our company, but as developments take shape, we find it important to share our environmental and occupational health and safety policy with our partners, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
We work with respect for and comply with the laws of the countries in which we operate. We continuously work to ensure that MH operates correctly in relation to employees, customers and suppliers.
MH is a family-owned company with a long history. We have been running our business responsibly for more than 82 years. We want to create value for all our stakeholders and ensure that we operate and develop our business responsibly based on our values. Our stakeholders can expect us to be a trustworthy partner, where our cooperation is based on trust, accountability, sustainability and is conducted in an ethical and legally correct manner. Confidential information must not be disclosed to third parties without the owner's consent.
The Code provides a frame of reference and a minimum standard.
The Code of Conduct is a collection of rules and policy statements to help employees in their daily decision-making. It provides guidelines on how to behave in relation to customers, suppliers, authorities and other stakeholders.
The Code of Conduct applies to all MH employees and it is important that every employee understands and complies with it. To ensure that every employee knows the content of the Code of Conduct, it is provided with the contract and must be adhered to. In addition, we expect all our business partners to comply with the same minimum requirements and framework.
It is expected that business partners of MH, employees and management of MH comply with the Code of Conduct and that unethical/illegal behavior is reported if observed.
Likewise, no forms of bribery or corruption are accepted.
Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in damage to the reputation of employees and MH as a company and may result in penalties under the law. Disciplinary action may be taken in cases of serious violations of the Code and may result in reprimand or dismissal.
In all relationships, honesty, integrity and professionalism, as well as objectivity and confidentiality, are key to the performance and behavior of MH employees. Our stakeholders must be able to trust MH and the way we operate both internally and externally in all respects.
MH complies with all relevant laws and regulations aimed at the protection and promotion of human rights globally and at work.
MH views its employees as its greatest asset. Every employee is valuable and together they form the foundation of MH's success.
It is important that employees treat everyone with dignity and respect. MH does not accept discrimination based on ethnic background, gender, religion, age or sexual orientation. Discriminatory behavior or harassment of any kind is not tolerated.
We respect our employees' right to freedom of association and recognize the right to be a member of a trade union or other collective bargaining group.
MH supports all efforts to eradicate child labor in the long term. When using the labor of young people aged 14-18 years, they are supervised and do not perform strenuous or dangerous tasks.
We strive to have a mix of employees to create an inclusive workplace where people work on different terms: students, trainees, interns, part-time and full-time employees, as well as employees with, if desired, reduced working hours in exchange for a pension.
We have made ourselves available for "Open Company". In offers where school classes have the opportunity to come on a company visit and see/hear how a production company works, hear about our sustainability initiatives and what we do to adapt and try to operate as optimally as possible so that it is economically viable. Give them an insight into our everyday life and the issues facing an injection molding company.
We are an energy-intensive production company, which is why we have made various investments in green energy over the years. From 2003-2019 we owned a share in a wind farm on Samsoe and since 2021 we have been the main shareholder in the solar park "Sol over Brenderup". In July 2023, we also put solar cells on our production and warehouse roofs into operation. MH was among the first 100 in Denmark to complete the course: Climate-ready production company. We are not certified, but back in 2016 we were ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 certified and we are still certified today.
The majority of the nylon (PA) we use in our production is PA recycled material - Post Industrial Grade We grind HD, LD, LLD on each machine and any residues are currently sent for processing at Vestergaard Larsen A/S, which is returned and used again in our production.
We have production of PP-ocean, which is granules made from fishing nets and ropes.
We have received confirmation from our subcontractors that no Russian steel is used in our metal parts.
Our company is surrounded by fruit trees and other vegetation.
We continuously evaluate and audit our products and production to monitor environmental developments and to translate our environmental and occupational health and safety policy into concrete objectives that create continuous improvements.
Complaints about quantity shortages must be made immediately after receipt of the goods, otherwise the right of complaint will lapse. Complaints about other defects must be made within 8 days of receipt, otherwise the right of complaint will lapse. Our liability is limited to new delivery with goods free of defects or maximized to the invoice amount at our discretion.
MH shall handle complaints from customers or former customers promptly and fairly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
