PC - Polycarbonat (Lexan)

Amorphous plastic is glass clear. PC is very rigid and tough material.

Like PA, PC is available with fiberglass, which increases stiffness. 

Used for glass-clear injection molded items that require high strength, as well as items that must be heat resistant.

PC is extremely impact resistant and is therefore most often used for items that are exposed to high impact loads. 

However, impact strength is reduced by exposure to chemicals and degraded by certain solvents. 

Density approx. 1.2 g/cm³.

Can be glued.
Maximum operating temperature, unloaded approx. 120°C.

Reasonably weatherproof.
