POM - Polyoxymethylen (Polyacetal)

POM is a good construction plastic with great strength, rigidity and toughness. 

Compared to PA, POM distinguishes itself by NOT changing dimensions with varying moisture content.

Typically used for bearings, gears, handles, etc.

Density approx. 1.4 g/cm³. 

Can be glued.
Maximum operating temperature, unloaded approx. 85°C
