PVC – Polyvinylchlorid

PVC is in unmodified state hard and rigid.

Soft PVC is PVC that has been added substances that make it soft, supple, and tough.

PVC contains chlorine, which when burned is converted to hydrochloric acid. PVC is sometimes discredited because of this, but PVC is a material that nevertheless deserves considerable attention, as it is the only or best choice of material for a wide range of tasks.

We do not process PVC but are happy to mediate the production of PVC items. Also dipmoulded parts.

Dipmoulding is a process, where parts can be produced by immersing a piston in liquid PVC. This results in very low moulding costs and slightly higher part costs than with injection moulding. The process is especially suitable for pads and handles for special profiles and pipes to be used in smaller quantities.

Typical used in items as tulles, buffers, suction pads.

Density about 1.2-1.4 (depending on softening content).

Can be glued.
Maximum use temperature, unloaded (hard PVC) approx. 60°C.

Soft PVC becomes already at 60°C very soft and very flexible.
