Threaded inserts

For our adjustable glides, we have a larger standard range of threaded inserts, so you easily can mount your adjustable glide. Threaded pipe legs are mounted up in the pipe and the adjustable glide is then screwed up inside.

We have threaded inserts for round, oval, square and rectangular pipes. They are made of various plastic materials with bushing or with plastic thread. Some models are two-pieced and can be loaded with 1 or 2 nuts as needed. Inserts with thread are available in zinc if they are required to withstand greater loads. There is also a model where insert and adjustable glide are one item all in plastic. 

It can be an advantage to use this model in wet environments.

Our threaded inserts are intended for adjustable glides, if you choose to use them for other purposes ex. Wheels, the insert must be fixed in the pipe, for example by penning (deforming) the pipe so that the insert cannot be moved out of the pipe.

Threaded inserts are available in standard color black but can be produced in other colors. However, if we produce a special production, a minimum quantity and/or installation costs must be expected.

We offer a wide range of threaded inserts, the majority of which are in stock, so it is possible to deliver from day to day.

Threaded pipe legs ensure an easy and simple installation of adjustable glides. Threaded pipe legs are available with several different wall thicknesses, so you can easily choose the type that suits the pipe where it will be mounted and with different thread sizes. This allows you to easily combine them with the desired adjustable glide that suits your product best.

By using a threaded inserts and adjustable glides, you can easily adjust the height of your product to suit the individual user.

To select the correct workpiece, the outer diameter of pipes is measured by caliper, as well as the wall thickness and thread size are determined. All measurements are in mm.
