Inserts/ferrules for tubes/glide element

If you have a pipe, that you for some reason, need to be protected, we probably have a solution. We have a wide range of smaller injection molded standard items for e.g., finishing steel pipes made of plastic or plastic / metal. We have standard solutions that suit different types of industry; ex. Furniture/framework.

We have pipe legs that go into a pipe and finish with different head shapes. Some head shapes are plane, others are hemispherical and some that curves between the two solutions. We have angled glides. They exist with different degrees. Most plastic items can be supplied with felt.

Some solutions have a very low head shape, which means that when mounted in holes in plates, they almost go in with the plate. Some types of covering inserts fit thin plates with various thicknesses of wall and diameter and others must have a wall thickness of more than 3mm for them to fit.

If you want a solution where cover insert goes on the outside of the pipe, we also have ferrules for this purpose. These also come in different materials and different forms.  Certain types of ferrules shoes also come with felt.

Brilliant diving caps are a soft solution for tubes or handles.

The pipe is neatly closed off with a pipe leg, glide, or ferrules, so that the pipe is shielded from people or from surfaces. Depending on the needs and how the product is to be used, there are different solutions. The product looks more complete when pipe ends are closed off and at the same time, they protect people or animals nearby from harm.

The glides are found for square, round, and oval pipes.

Our plastic parts help to protect and finish pipe ends. If the plastic item is placed on a chair or table leg, they simultaneously protect the floor on which they stand. This should extend the life of the product and the floor.

The plastic parts are available in different types of plastic depending on how the item is to be used. Ex you can use TPE or hytrel if you want a greater friction against the surface the furniture works against.

The standard color for most items is black, but several sizes are also available in gray and white.

Glides can be produced in special colors upon request. However, minimum quantity and/or installation fee will have to be expected.

The surface of the plastic item may vary. It can be glossy or sparkly.

The right size of item is found by measuring the outer diameter and wall thickness with a caliper if the end is to be mounted INTO the pipe and by measuring the outer diameter if the end is to go OUTSIDE the pipe.

Our inlet is ground into new /continued production on the machine or on our grinder and is later included in new production.

If an insert, ferrule, or pipe leg should break, it is easily changed. Mail an image and pipe size and we can find a replacement item together.
